When You Walk to Me #2

Part of my COLLISIONS series using a lush palette of hues developed over the summer, this vessel features two abstract compositions -- one is an evocation of what I feel when my wife quite literally walks by me; the other an emblematic representation of our relationship, at times.

The COLLISIONS series is concerned with intimacy and perspective. Their surface compositions evoke and reflect on the sensations of encountering another's body, the intensity of being near but not touching, and the simple astonishment of truly seeing the world through another person's perspective.
