Using a technique I've developed for making my fine art vessels, this is one of the first of a new line of functional JOWDY pieces. I pigment my porcelain hues of cobalt and hot orange, then cut thin slabs of these colors that are inlaid in white porcelain. 
 
The exterior is brilliant unglazed matte porcelain, and the interior has a luscious cobalt satin glaze, all highlighted by a white rim defining the vessel.
Perfect as a hum of color on its own, but also wholly functional .
