The landscape depicted here is patterned afterwards the Mount Shuksan area near Bellingham, WA. It’s an area I explored during my early big-mile hikes when I drove out to the west coast from North Carolina when I was 19 years old.
The exterior is brilliant unglazed porcelain, and the interior has a glossy clear glaze over the white clay.
