Using a technique I've developed for making my fine art vessels, this is the first of a new line of functional JOWDY pieces. I pigment my porcelain hues of cobalt, creamy orange, and celadon, then cut thin slabs of these colors that are inlaid in white porcelain.
The exterior is brilliant unglazed matte porcelain, and the interior has a glossy clear glaze over the white clay.

All pieces at Jowdy Studio are handmade from porcelain that is fired to over 2200 degrees Fahrenheit. All pieces are food-safe, and are microwave and dishwasher safe. However, we recommend careful handwashing.
