Calm and snowy, this piece is named and patterned after the river valley where I lived in the North Carolina mountains for several years.
This vase featured a tall “hidden” foot, which causes it to appear to float above the tabletop.
The exterior is brilliant unglazed porcelain, and the interior has a glossy clear glaze over the white clay.
