Watauga Ridge Mug
Using the method I developed to create my Ridge vases, I make each mug by staining my white porcelain a range of hues, and layering it to create a stratified, gradient effect. These are named after the Watauga River valley in North Carolina, where I spent a few of the best years of my life. The exterior is brilliant unglazed porcelain, and the interior has a glossy clear glaze over the white clay. Due to their handmade nature, each mug is slightly different, and will not be exactly as pictured. ~4” H x 3.5” D 12 oz
